Warranty conditions

Zest filters have a product and performance warranty period of: 2 years from the date of delivery depending on your filter choice. The warranty is valid for applications involving the treatment of drinking water coming from the municipal network and pre-treated by the network operator. We undertake to remind you two months in advance of the possible expiration of the warranty if we do not receive data on average annual consumption. If the filter is used to purify another type of water: surface water – groundwater/well – sewage – rainwater, Zest reserves the right to indicate NEW WARRANTY CONDITIONS with respect to the time or volume of treated water, in connection with receiving a complete preliminary analysis of the sample water and only in relation to these values. Whenever and in any case it is first free from any suspended substances using appropriate filters. Without this process and application of the above, the warranty will be void.

Assistance

If necessary, ZEST support will replace the filter at its own expense if there are problems in its operation that can be attributed to the manufacturer.

Help procedure

You can submit a support request by email to zestmeup@zestwaterforlife.com and we will respond with a confirmation email to activate the support procedure. You can then choose whether to send us the filter only or proceed to immediately replace the damaged filter with a “replacement” filter after paying a deposit.

Upon receipt of the defective filter, our technical office will perform the necessary checks to determine the type of problem and its nature.

Once you get the result, there are two solutions:

A) If the problem is due to a manufacturing defect, we will replace it immediately at our expense. If you have chosen the “Exchange” filtering solution, your deposit will also be refunded.

B) If the problem is not related to a defect of the filter, but to situations that lead to its improper use or go beyond the warranty conditions (see above), you can choose whether:

1) buy a new filter using the discount coupon you will receive for the defective filter sent.

2) If you have installed a “replacement” filter, keep it until the end of the old filter’s warranty (temporary/volume) and then buy a new one.

3) collect the old filter at your own expense.

Any use or problem that causes the encountered use and problem to exceed the terms of the warranty releases ZEstGbR from any liability and damages.

If the analyzes show that the problem is due to the negligence of the Network Manager or third parties (installer, plumber), the Customer may claim compensation for any damage to persons and property (including the filter) against the same through our analysis.

Your costs for certifying filter analyzes should then be allocated to the network manager or someone acting on his behalf.

It is always recommended that you do not attach any photos or relevant information to your email requesting help.
